Nathan Trotter’s business has always been about more than buying and selling – and more than tin alone. We care about matching our customers with the right producers and the right product. Our longstanding, top-tier relationships with producers around the globe give our customers access to a wealth and diversity of metal. Through these primary relationships, Nathan Trotter offers grades and qualities of tin and other metals to meet specific needs. Our producer diversity drives our competitive pricing. Multiple sources mean we’ll always have access to the metal you need.

We keep a large selection of products in stock for next-day shipment. Even most custom orders have lead times under one week. All non-ferrous alloys are produced on-site.

We continually refine our distribution process to be more than a low-cost provider. In addition to meeting our customers’ metal needs, we coordinate shipping through strategic logistics relationships. Our central location on the East Coast of the US enables cost-effective transportation to and from our clients and producers worldwide. Our Milwaukee, Wisconsin, warehouse accommodates Midwest foundry clients for even faster delivery or pickup.

We are glad to announce a second 300-ton extrusion press has been brought on-line at the Coatesville facility. Designed for extrusion of pure tin and tin alloys ranging from .25” to 5” diameter/width this machine will add redundancy to our process and allow for faster turn-around times.
Long committed to bringing our customers value for their dollar, Nathan Trotter offers metal reclaim and conversion programs that stress the importance of properly handling and valuing your scrap. We can recommend a program that is best suited for the dross, spent anodes, slag, turnings or off-spec. ingot that you generate.
